Our sales department uses SalesLoft to assist in the automation of dialing and emailing. It helps to create completed tasks in SalesLoft so we don't have to manually log each call and email that is sent out. It also helps to automatically add dispositions to a call, like if we spoke to the decision maker or their receptionist or if we left a voicemail. It helps to standardize that and leaves no guesswork as to what happened on a call. We also utilize SalesLoft to create email templates and automate the email process.
  • Email automation is a huge boon. Templates can be shared between different teams so something the outbound team has can certainly be used by the SDR team in certain cases.
  • Standardized call dispositions take the guesswork out of what happened on a call and ensure everyone is on the same page.
  • Provides a dialer that is connected directly to Salesforce so I can stay in Salesforce and not have to use a separate website or app to dial out.
  • The Salesforce sidebar could use some work. There's no option to sort due cadences by Time Zone without clicking through into the cadence. I would like the option to sort by Time Zone first.
  • There's no option for Canadian phone numbers for the local dialer. It always shows up as a Boston number, which weirds out my Canadian clients.
  • People are removed from a cadence the moment they respond to you via email. It's a pain to go back and add them back into the specific step of the cadence I have them in. I'd prefer the option to turn that on or off.
SalesLoft is great if you're looking to take a lot of the manual work out of the sales process, like calling out and drafting emails. Just utilize templates to make your life a lot easier there. Having used other email automation software, SalesLoft is so much easier to use. It easily captures the merge fields and adds the necessary information--I rarely ever have to manually edit the information.

SalesLoft is being used by our entire Sales team. Our inside sales team uses it to manage outreach and inbound leads. As an Account Executive, I am using it to manage my communications with partners and to manage my pipeline.

  • Reminders, Tasks and To Dos....Why are these separate? I want one place to manage my tasks whether they be related to an opp or a person.

Salesloft is instrumental in our outreach strategy, allowing our sales org to optimize our messaging in an organized and efficient way. Every sales rep here utilizes SalesLoft to AB test, create unique cadences, and make calls through the dialer. While there is much more for us to learn, even scratching the surface we can all see the value that SalesLoft brings to our org.

Right now, SalesLoft is being use in our Supply Chain Finance outbound calling campaigns. There are two of us on this team, and currently it is helping us be a lot more efficient with making calls and documenting the success of our campaigns. Having done this type of work for many years, I truly LOVE SalesLoft and all of its capabilities... capabilities which I am sure I've only scratched the surface on as I still have so much to learn. So far it has been a fantastic tool!

  • Account and contact activity is easy to view
  • The overall lay out of the information is great
  • I love the analytics and reporting!
  • When I import contacts from ZOOM INFO, despite having checked off DIRECT # AND MOBILE #, only the DIRECT # imported... causing me to have to keep ZOOM INFO open, to manually add the MOBILE # to then dial in cases where the DIRECT # is no good. Not sure if this is a SL or ZOOM INFO problem, but that is one issue I have encountered.
SalesLoft is a great tool for any kind of outbound marketing campaign. Their platform is easy to use, and really helps make the job so much more efficient. The analytics and reporting are also superb!

Our Sales team use SalesLoft to manage our sales activity and make and receive calls.

It makes it easier for us to track and manage communication with potential clients, as well as for inbound leads to contact us and book time in our calendars.

It also allows us to keep track of our activity and monitor where we need to make more effort!

  • Email cadences are easy to schedule, change and keep track of.
  • Integration to our CRM is easy and quick, again saving a huge amount of time.

SalesLoft is one of the best sales tracking solutions for calls and emails and integrates fantastically with our CRM or the CRM of your choice.

The cadence set up and process is also one of the easier ones to use.

The Business Development area uses the tool to register contacts, positioning, calls, e-mails, and cadences. I have no problems to address. It is a very robust and reliable tool as well as being very intuitive and friendly. I am particularly pleased to use it. I recommend it to other users within the company.

We leverage SalesLoft exclusively with our Inside Sales organization. This group includes SDR's and ISR's which is roughly 100 users. SalesLoft is the primary tool used for almost all sales engagements. It's a central part of our email and phone based outreach efforts. Our team handles inbound and outbound leads from our prospects and customers alike.
  • Salesloft Cadences were a game changer for us. It's now considered table stakes for any sales engagement platform.
  • Automation Rules were huge for the Operations and IT teams - less clicks in SFDC and predictable patterns gave us the data we needed.
  • Their support has been spectacular with our regular requests for customization and help within the app.
  • With great tools comes great responsibility - you NEED training and enablement for this tool.
  • Being able to get a dialer phone number in a desired area is spotty, some of our major markets never have a number available in that area code.
  • It'd be great if we could change the Person layouts - there's information that we'd like to display and we're limited to just showing a few custom fields.
SalesLoft is a great application to get started on with Sales engagement. If you find yourself in a position where you have to be more targeted and coordinated with prospecting activities, SalesLoft definitely satisfies the requirements. Our inside sales team has found a lot of success with it and it's difficult to imagine moving to a platform that doesn't have the same feature set.

SalesLoft is being used just for the sales team. We create cadences within it, and put prospects through the steps in order to book meetings. It also can track the click rates from our prospects, how many times they've opened emails, as well as if they have clicked on any links that we have sent. It helps us book meetings as an organization.
  • When you create a sequence, it runs you through the steps in the timeline that you created
  • Can link with Linkedin for a connection touch
  • Shows you how many times your prospects view your emails
  • Can run several cadences at once!
  • I initially had difficulty integrating with my email, but one call with customer support helped solve this!
  • You must always have updated Chrome, otherwise the optics and data will not show (again, a me problem, not SalesLoft!).
  • I've built a few cadences, and my home screen still advertises for me to "build my first cadence".
It's great for your sales team. I really cannot see it being used by many other teams as it is a sales tool. It's great for prospecting and setting the meeting, beyond that you should keep track of your opportunities. It's great for running you through different touch points such as emails, calls/voicemails, linkedin connections, etc.

My department uses SalesLoft as an efficient way to track and monitor BDRs' outreach to contacts. It solves the problem of an increased number of BDRs making email tracking, call recording, analytics, research (with various third-party apps like ZoomInfo, Hoover's, etc.) a difficult process for the managers, resulting in low visibility into-day to-day activities.

SalesLoft is being used by our sales organization as a dialer and email tracker as well as for sales engagement. We have multiple cadences set up for outbound efforts both for SDRs and AEs. All activity is also logged through SalesLoft. It helps us to stay organized in our outreach and follow up and provides reporting for management.

Our SDR (Sales Development Representatives) team needed help with automation in their day to day. They are the ones who used it the most. Sometimes our sales team would use it to run cadences but mostly to use the dialer version. We would make calls through the Sales Loft app.
  • Were allowed to set up cadences to help automate any sales reach outs we would have
  • We were able to use the dialer they had to make calls to clients - who's profile was sync'ed up with salesforce. It would ensure the notes of that call went into Salesforce as well.
  • We used the templates and snippets they had to help save time with emails to prospects. We would track emails and see which ones worked the best and use them as templates. We'd also make sure the email was customized but using their snippets of information.
  • The salesforce integration was not great. I liked going to salesforce and seeing what my tasks for that day was. Since I was logging calls in SalesLoft I wasn't able to set up a follow up call in Salesforce. It had to be in sales loft.
If you have an SDR team or a team who makes a lot of calls and emails SalesLoft is a must. It helps automate a lot of the work you do. In addition to that, it allows you to track and report on which emails get the best results. The reporting in SalesLoft is really great. You can easily take a step back and know what's been working and what isn't. To then quickly remove that not working workflow.

1) maximizes our time - helps a nimble team be more effective at reaching out to multiple organiations and individuals
2) data insights and intelligence - provides realtime data around communication outreach (open, clicks, downloads)
3) message segmentation, reach and scale - enables us to effectively communicate the right message to the right person at the right time
4) simplifies processes - activity insights connect to Salesforce CRM - historical activity is visible and tracked in Salesforce eliminating once was a multistep process
  • GDPR compliance via personalized messaging at scale
  • Data insights on campaigns and rep activities
  • Account intelligence information from apps like Owler and LinkedIn Sales Nav
  • Need insights about customer personality type (i.e. Crystal) - really valued this when Salesloft had it.
Well suited for any organizaton that is focused on reaching different customer audiences for revenue generation or specific call to action. Salesloft is easy enough to use across the organization and message to multiple audiences/buyers no matter where they are in the buying cycle, or even current customers for upsell opportunities.

SalesLoft is being used throughout our whole organization. We use it to make calls imported from leads that are from Salesforce. I like the interface and how it is so easy to make a call to a prospect. Also if the number is not the one given or known, you are able to change it.

  • Shows the stats of how many emails are made
  • Simple and gets the job done
  • Notification when another user has a success
  • Notify me when the caller is online on the other end
  • If it is a trash number, it should just be kicked out of the cadence
I have had no problems with SalesLoft compared to other phone apps. I have used other phone services at other jobs to make calls and I had to punch in every number to make a call--very time consuming and sometimes they never picked up. SalesLoft makes it easy to dial so you aren't wasting time having to dial every number in.

It is being used to date by 60 users, mostly Business Development Reps for 2 different groups, some in Europe. Primarily it was chosen for the auto dialing and call tracking with our Salesforce.com to replace Lightning Dialer. It allows auto dialing a lead or contact and tracking call with an activity auto generated.
  • Auto dialing and tracking calls from within Salesforce.com.

  • It would help to know from the dialer box if an EMEA country being called is provisioned for Local Dial for our company; we have 13 countries we have provisioned for local dial but users need to keep a list.
  • There was no list of what EMEA countries that we had been provisioned for in the app even for the administrators.
  • Users would like the list of Sentiment values to be dependent on Disposition. This is Salesforce.com feature, the values displayed in one picklist can be dependent on what was choosen in the primary picklist.
It's pretty full featured. We are not yet using all the features but plan to. So for auto-dialing it's a 9.

SalesLoft is my favorite tool, used throughout the company by the sales team to organize and schedule external outreach. The analytics are amazing, enabling each user to qualify and improve the effectiveness of email campaigns. SalesLoft [equals] working smarter not working harder

SalesLoft is used within our organization to first ensure that we are sending emails to customers on a regular cadence but also to track when customers or prospects open emails etc. The teams within the organization that use Intercom are the sales team, both SDR and AE. The business problem that SalesLoft solved is added productivity and ensuring that reps are able to maintain consistency.

SalesLoft is currently being used for email tracking, setting calendar appointments with prospects and clients, making outbound calls, setting up and executing cadences for outreach, and tracking analytics like open rates. It is being used across some Sales and Marketing teams in the U.S. It helps us track email opens, the best times to reach prospects and clients, and helps us measure our daily activities.
  • Cadence Management - we can add and edit cadences based on a specific product line we want to sell or an event that our prospects and our reps attended.
  • Activity Tracking - we can see all of the calls, emails, reminders, and tasks we have completed on an account or person basis.
  • Templates & Snippets - we can easily create templates and snippets for common objections, questions, or ask for feedback.
  • Dialer - we can use common dispositions to log calls, which allows us to track what types of conversations we're having, if at all.
  • Dialer - I would love to see more call dispositions added in the future (like Connected-Spoke to Decision Maker or Connected-Call Back Tomorrow) because the disposition options are pretty limited and not useful for each call.
  • Homepage Customization - I would love to see more options to customize the home page (colors, backgrounds) to make the Dashboard more unique for each user.
  • Dialer - There should be an option to disable call recordings permanently instead of having to click on the recording icon every time you don't want to record a call.
  • LinkedIn Integration - Sales Navigator is currently linked to SalesLoft but it would be great if any Premium subscription was supported by the tool.
SalesLoft is well suited for sales reps like me who email and make calls frequently throughout the day. I would also recommend this tool to those of us who want to organize their activities and regularly set up touchpoints for reach-outs in the future. It is much easier to use SalesLoft to automate processes than having 1000 sticky notes or planner reminders that help you remember to email or call someone. It is also a HUGE lifesaver when booking meetings because you can send availability with a few clicks and set default calendar messages, right in the tool.

Currently, SalesLoft is being used in Sales Development and on select Sales Teams. SalesLoft allows us to identify high performing cadences/email templates to maximize effectiveness in our messaging. The analytics also help with coaching individual contributors by highlighting key areas of success and areas where additional development is needed.
  • Analytics helps highlight areas of strength/weakness with each user.
  • Conversation intelligence provides a range of tools for helping to coach individual users to be more effective in phone conversations.
  • Integration with Salesforce allows for streamlined documentation (logging notes in SalesLoft automatically logs notes to Salesforce).
  • The ability to drill deeper into reports would be beneficial. One example would be to run a report of Connected calls that were unsuccessful so that those calls could be reviewed easily and feedback provided to the user.
  • The ability for other users to see "reminders" on specific contacts within accounts would be helpful in providing transparency to other users so that we avoid stepping on each other's toes as much as possible.
Well suited for any traditional sales organization where you are trying to scale your communication and determine the effectiveness of your outreach. SalesLoft would be less beneficial for non-traditional sales organizations or organizations with a small clientele where there is no need to scale communication.

SalesLoft is used to help support Sales teams and develop new business. The software helps sales manage their time and keep track of opportunities and pipelines. I’m not sure how it is being used across the business as a whole as I am just an end-user.

SalesLoft is well suited for teams who are trying to win new business and need to keep track of a large pool of contacts and understand where you are in the process of reaching out to them. Being able to view a history of contact info is very useful and the integrations with Salesforce and LinkedIn are very smooth and useful.

Salesloft is being used by the SDR team. We use it to manage all our leads through the entire nurturing process. We run multiple step outreach cadences through SL incl. social media, emails, and calls. It is also our primary system to set tasks and reminders. It fully integrates with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Gong etc.
  • Multiple step cadences.
  • List tasks in order of date due.
  • In program caller is great.
  • Tasks become current at due date but not specific time.
  • Cadences cannot be paused.
  • Cannot categorize tasks according to priority.
Very well suited for outbound SDR work where leads need to be nurtured. Less suited for one-touch outreach.

We use SalesLoft to keep track of our sales prospects. We use it to track and make calls, send and track emails, send text messages and automate outreach efforts to drive sales. SalesLoft has helped us keep track of not only our individual daily and weekly activities but our team activities as well. With SalesLoft we can easily review performance metrics.
  • Ability to automate emails based on actions.
  • Ability to track the number of actions on prospects.
  • Easily create email templates and share it across the entire network.
  • Able to track if an email has been opened and viewed.
  • Only integrates with Sales Navigator Team.
  • On occasion people you've dialed complain that they can't hear you.
  • Answering incoming calls is not an easy task.
Any company that needs to track number of engagements on sales reps or business developers needs SalesLoft. Being able to track the entire outreach process is crucial for managing and creating a sales funnel. SalesLoft should not be used as a complete CRM platform as you can't track deals and/or dollar amounts.

SalesLoft is being used by the entire Business Development Team. Although our team is on the smaller end (6 people and growing), we use Salesloft to help us achieve numbers that would be possible for a bigger team. It allows us to create cadences & workflows that better help us manage our time and our large potential client base. It's also tied in with Salesforce nicely, so when we get a lead and workflow it, the account executives on the other team can track all of our communications form SalesLoft in Salesforce, so there is no 'he said she said.'
  • It tracks how many times your email has been read, the location, and even down to the device.
  • Workflow cadences are easy to set up, and can be easily copied and implemented across a bigger team.
  • Our internet provider/firewall protection has a hard time allowing calls to go through. We normally cannot make calls from our laptops because of this. Although it's more on our own company end, I feel SalesLoft should have some additional workarounds for work environments like this.
  • If you open your own email, it tracks it as a view, and ultimately you can fudge your own numbers for open ratios. Guess who was top of their sales team for "emails opened" because of this minor overlook?
It's well suited for any business development team who needs to grow their numbers aggressively. The ability to create cadences, workflows, and collaborate on emails makes it easy for a team of any size to grow their business. It does take a bit of time to get used to, and a little bit of training, but I feel like any software that is too easy to learn probably doesn't have the functionality you need. SalesLoft is always adding to their platform as well.
